The Objective
When Capitol Taxis Ltd contacted Challenger they had an issue with their current supplier.
Due to a member of staff leaving Capitol, who used to deal with their telecoms, there was a lot of confusion as to exactly which services Capitol had and with which suppliers. This left Capitol having to work out where all of their communication services were with different providers and what telephone numbers and services they had with each of them. They had to then arrange the porting of all telephone lines and numbers onto a new SIP trunk and this was causing major problems when trying to streamline their internal processes.
The Solution
In order to solve this problem, Challenger executed the task of transferring and porting multiple telephone lines and services with different providers to Challenger. After migrating one taxi despatch software package to another, we then migrated back to the original one again.
Capitol were very impressed with Challenger’s ability to manage the whole process, switching them from their current despatch software to SIP trunks with Autocab®. The account management and support team were able to complete the project with zero downtime or issues and well within the deadline given.
